Rules & Gameplay

The rules of TOSSINTENS™ are simple. We keep it that way because we expect you to have a good time, and not worry about how to play. So the less complicated….the better!

TOSSINTENS™ The Rules
It’s a simple and addictive tailgate/yard game. Toss the 16oz. corn-filled bags into the “bullseye” rings on the TOSSINTENS™ board aiming for the 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 point rings. You can score one point by landing the bag on the cornhole board or around the point rings. The first player or team to score 21 points wins the game.

TOSSINTENS™ Equipment
Two Cornhole Boards (not included)- The Cornhole Boards are a raised board/platform with a 6-inch hole in it. The surfaces of the Cornhole boards are 2′ X 4’ (professional) or 3’ X 4’ (tailgate). Two TOSSINTENS™ boards (24”x 34”), eight 16oz., 6”x6” Bags; four of each color for opposite teams or individual players.

TOSSINTENS™ The Set-up
Place the TOSSINTENS™ boards atop the cornhole boards with the raised ring on the underside of the TOSSINTENS™ board into the 6” hole of the cornhole board. THE TOSSINTENS™ boards will click into place. Cornhole boards are facing each other and are positioned 27’ from the front edge to the front edge of the boards.

TOSSINTENS™ Players
Can be played with 2 or 4 players. If you play with 2 players it is considered individual play and when you play with 4 players it is considered team play.

TOSSINTENS™ Team Play
In team play one player from Team A and one player from Team B lineup next to each board. Bags are tossed alternating from one team to the other. One player from team A tosses a bag and then one player from team B tosses a bag until all 4 bags have been tossed. When all the bags have been thrown for that round, points are totaled and the next round begins from the opposite cornhole board with the opposing partners taking turns tossing their bags. You can determine the team who throws first by a coin toss and every round after that, the first throw goes to the team that won the previous round. Rounds continue until one of the teams reaches 21 points or more.

TOSSINTENS™ Individual Play
Individual play is the same as team play except you have to walk to the alternating board to pick up and score your own points and then toss the bags back yourself. You should alternate sides when playing individually. So on the first round player A would be on the right side of the board and on the next round player A would be on the left side of the board.

TOSSINTENS™ How to score points
Points are determined based on where the Cornhole bags land in relation to the TOSSINTENS™ Bullseye rings. Points are awarded when a bag lands in the rings which have progressively increasing points, one point is awarded if the bag lands on the cornhole board or around the point rings. Bags that are hanging over the rings, as long as it is 50% or more, receive the point for that ring. No points are awarded if a bag is on the ground or touched by another player while in the air.

TOSSINTENS™ Cancelling points (optional)
The points of one player cancel out the points of their opponent when their bags lands on top of their opponents in the bullseye ring.
