How To Play Baseball

The rules of TOSSINTENS®BASEBALL are simple. We keep it that way because we expect you to have a good time, and not worry about how to play. So the less complicated….the better!

TOSSINTENS®BASEBALL-The Rules

It’s a simple and addictive tailgate/yard game. Toss the 16oz. corn-filled bags into the “bullseye” rings on the TOSSINTENS®BASEBALL board aiming for the SINGLE, DOUBLE, TRIPLE and of course HOMERUN and GRANDSLAM rings to score runs. If your bags land in the strike out or fly out rings on the TOSSINTENS®BASEBALL board it is considered 1 out. Scoring is like baseball,3 outs per inning per team. Bags that land around the point rings, on the board or on the ground are considered an out. The Player or team with the highest points (runs) wins the game.

TOSSINTENS®BASEBALL-Equipment

Two Cornhole Boards (not included)- The Cornhole Boards are a raised board/platform with a circular 6” cut out. The surfaces of the Cornhole boards are 2′ X 4’ (professional) or 3’ X 4’ (tailgate). Two TOSSINTENS®BASEBALL boards (24”x 34”), eight 16oz., 6”x6” Bags.

TOSSINTENS® BASEBALL-The Set-up

Place the TOSSINTENS®BASEBALL boards atop the cornhole boards with the raised ring on the underside of the TOSSINTENS® BASEBALL board into the 6” hole of the cornhole board. The TOSSINTENS®BASEBALL boards will slide into place. Cornhole boards are facing each other and are positioned 27’ from the front edge to the front edge of the boards.

TOSSINTENS® BASEBALL-How to score runs

Runs are determined based on where the Cornhole bags land in relation to the TOSSINTENS® BASEBALL Bullseye rings. Bases/Runs are awarded when a bag lands in the rings with each name. Players receive an out when the bag lands on the cornhole board, around the point rings or on the ground. Bags that are hanging over the rings, if it is 50% or more, receive that base/run for that ring. Continue tossing until 3 outs per team and 6 or 9 innings. Team with most runs WINS!

TOSSINTENS® BASEBALL-Players

Can be played with 2 or 4 Players. Individual play is 2 and Team play is 4 Players.

TOSSINTENS® BASEBALL-Team Play

In team play, one player from Team A and one player from Team B lineup next to each board. Top of 1^st inning-Team A (Player1) starts with 4 bags and Team A (Player 2) starts with 4 bags and alternate throws till three outs. Bottom of 1^st inning Team B (Player 1) starts with 4 bags and Team B (Player 2) starts with 4 bags and alternate throws till three outs. Continue play for 6 or 9 innings. The team with the most runs WINS!

TOSSINTENS® BASEBALL-Individual Play

Individual play is the same as team play (using all 8 bags) except you must walk to the alternating board to pick up your bags and score your runs. Next, toss the bags back to the other board.   Alternate sides when playing individually. So for example: top of 1^st inning Player A is on the right side-top of 2^nd inning at opposite board Player A is on the left side and so on. The individual with the most runs WINS!
